It was my first hangout with Foodirector for their new event on this weekly hangout invitation for food tasting .
First visit to Frontera which specialized in Mexican cuisine located at ground floor.
Background of the restaurant : The Frontera revolution and ongoing evolution began in June 2008 when a small group of fellow Mexican food aficionados opened Frontera Sol of Mexico (formerly known as Frontera Bar & Grill) @ the Palm Square, Jaya One in Petaling Jaya. Frontera serving   American (Traditional) , Burgers , Mexican and Tex-Mex.There are more than 8 different types of Tex-Mex side dishes ranging from rice to mashed potatoes.

Frontera mission is to create a warm, friendly and unique environment here. Frontera owner have prepared a new group menu for us and this sets is actually price at RM 60+

We tried our refreshing welcome drinks - Watermelon Agua Fresca (watermelon and lime juice).

Top Shelf Guacamole - Served on Tortilla Sombrero. Crispy and love the mashed avocado sauces and added with some tomatoes
Finger food - top hat with avocado sauce.
Jalapeno Crab Cakes - served with Roasted Jalapeno Remoulade. Very nice taste of this appetizer dip with the creamy sauce
Shown clearly the minced crab meat and also the vegetables
Jicama Salad - with avacado on the top and the vegetables salad. Sourness of this salad really open's one appetite.
Chicken Enchiladas - Wrapped with tortilla - Filled with shreeded chicken meat served together with beans, rice and salsa. Yummy

Baja-style fish tacox - All the sauces here taste great as they are homemade sauces. The fish is crispy.

Prawn Chimichanga - Nice combination of food but i find it salty for the dish. Inside is the prawn, cheese melted on it and must have it together with the rice and beans
Bar counter. Here is well known of Frontera's Agave Margaritas, icy cold Mexican beer and tequila-influenced cocktails are the perfect companions to their culinary selections. Gaining popularity is Frontera's original Agave Margaritas, which Frontera claims to be "the best on the planet". Horny Margarita, Frontera best seller, using their very own special recipe.
Impossible Chocolate Flan. The desserts uses condensed milk and taste sweet. The upper layer i can describe as if like having pudding with the bottom brownies.
Happy hours Sundays & Mondays: ALL DAY , ALL NIGHT
Tuesdays to Saturdays: 5pm to 9pm. Live band starts from 9pm onwards.
Cantina-styled bar with live music on Fridays and Saturdays, and live football broadcast.
Quiet and peaceful place to chill out
