Tokyo Don @ Pavilion Kuala Lumpur

I bought this new deal from Groupon offering [54% Off] Japanese Teppan / Don Meal for 2 People at Tokyo Teppan, Pavilion KL for only RM38. The usual price is RM 82. 945 people have bought the voucher recently, so this place should be good. I give it a try, no reservation needed and just show your vouchers to dine in. Located at Tokyo Street, Tokyo Don and Tokyo Teppan is actually the same company and just attached side by side. No wonder  I saw the food is coming from the Tokyo Teppan, whereby the staff will prepare the Teppanyaki there and served next door. Tokyo Don is specializes on the donburi and in website stated that the chef here have 15 years of experience. The atmosphere is modern dining with Japanese interior (rustic bamboo poles at the entrance) and comfortable place to have a quick lunch. Greeted with a warm smiles, the staff is quick and know I am coming for the vouchers visit. The place is small with few tables only. But on the Tokyo Teppan, the restaurant looks more spacious and also full house with lunch crowd. The staff will explain there are 6 choices from the menu book that we can order for this voucher. Each voucher is for 2 people that inclusive the choices of the following:

• Teppan set (served with white rice, fruits, salad, appetiser, chawanmushi, and miso soup): 

• - Saba teppanyaki set (RM29 value) 

• - Salmon fillet set (RM29 value) 

• - Boneless chicken set (RM25 value
• Donburi set (served with appetiser, chawanmushi, miso soup, pickles, and fruits): 

• - Shake tendon (RM31 value) 

• - Tori katsudon (RM27 value) 

• - Chicken teriyaki set (RM25 value)

Tori Katsu Don RM 27. This look promising with generous portion on the chicken meat. Serving of rice dish topped with breaded chicken cutlet, vegetables and egg. Miso Soup, fruits and mashed potatoes are together with the set too. The chicken cutlet is delicious and crispy. Portion is up to 6 large pieces. Fully satisfied with this choice.

We get Chawanmushi for each of us. Smooth and silky Chawanmushi

Salmon fillet grilled in Teppanyaki Style RM 29 (120 gram).Worthy set with two salmon fillet served with a bowl of miso soup, fruits, beansprout and rice. The salmon is juicy and perfectly cooked

I almost forgotten,,green tea ice cream is included in this deal. This is worth RM 9?? Taste good (sweet with a light bitter taste) but for this portion really burnt a hole in my pocket for RM 9 .

Current promotions going on.. I need to bring Watson card to dine in everywhere.Good savings

So much to choose from..their menu is interesting and reasonably priced

The awesome tempura and unagi set...... I should it try next time..looks yummy
