Kam Fatt Restaurant is located at Tengkat Tong Shin which is also near to Jalan Alor. I used to pass by here every day and our favourite spot for lunch place as well. They have many food to please everyone. Operating from morning until afternoon, the place is always crowded especially breakfast hour. Noodles, Chee Cheong Fun, dim sum range (lo mai kai, fish ball, siew mai and etc), mix rice, porridge and they have also rarely found Teluk Intan Chee Cheong Fun! This “kopitiam” place is definitely the right choice for lunch crowds as it won’t burn a whole in your pocket. The price is very reasonable and you can get a bowl of noodle only at RM 6.

Curry Noodle is the best seller as well. I love how the noodles is perfectly cooked and tossed in curry gravy which then layered with chicken meat. The serving is generous and the flavour and texture of the noodle is so aromatic. Moreover, the cockles is juicy and the spicy flavour from the thick curry broth is lip-smacking. Delicious!!

You must not missed out the mix rice here. Freshly prepared and they have more than 30 choices of dish to choose from. Option to choose from Chicken meat, fish, pork, vegetables, egg and taufu. Few are my all time favourite as well. Very convenient to just have the economy rice especially during lunch hour and they also provide complimentary soup to customers. Kam Fatt has the homemade style food and you can find more than 3 types of cooking style for just a particular pork meat, or chicken meat.

I will choose for the steamed minced pork.  A hearty dish that always remind me of my childhood homey cooking food and best when paired with white rice. Appetizing dish that surely wins your heart.

Chee Cheong Fun is available from morning until afternoon hour. There are few choices of yong tau foo dish available. The taste and the texture of the chee cheong fun is quite good, along with the fresh condiments of taufu, fish ball, brinjal, bitter gourd, Fu chok, and etc. As I mention we can find Teluk Intan style chee cheong fun which has already been around for a few years. I usually take away two pieces for my snack time. Chee Cheong Fun is filled with a umami mix of turnip, dried prawns and minced pork and eaten with pickled green chillies or chilli sauce. Simple yet so delicious!
