I was given an exclusive invitation from Open Rice to visit this Thai Restaurant that served traditional southern Thai cuisine in Wisma Central. We are given a voucher to redeem a 4 course menu for 2 persons servings - Appetizer - Thai Mango Salad, Tom Yam Seafood Soup, Exclusive King Rama V Fried Rice, Wok Fried Phad Thai and a hearty bowl of Red Ruby Desserts.

Thai Syok is a hidden treasure inside Wisma Central. Who will able to guess the location will be at the basement level and not able to locate it from the main entrance. We managed to get a nice parking lot beside the lift. We came out from Ground Floor, heading towards the main entrance. There is a small walkway on my left that shows the sign Thai Syok Restaurant.

Thai Syok means "very syok!" -Mouth watering menu of Thai food that leaves you a very satisfaction feelings of "Syok!".

Once I turn left, I saw this glass door ad staircase to go down reaching the entrance of the restaurant. Seems so mysterious huh..

Once I enter this restaurant, I was very impressive with their interior. Colourful table settings and each side have their own theme. Some are small stools chairs which my girl love to sit on it. At the side are the sofa seats. If you come with a larger group, there are big rectangle tables that can fit up to 8 peoples all together.
I am glad to meet Jeffred Tham , the managing director for Thai Syok. We have a quick chat and I managed to get some information from him that this restaurant is still new, operated since March 2015. The chef is from Thai and here served authentic taste of Thai food. Wisma Central is cater more to lunch crowds from Monday to Friday and they have promotions going on for set lunch even on Saturday.

Lively and energetic scene from the wall paintings.

Set lunch with only RM 9.90 nett price. More than 8 choices of food for the set lunch and additional top up with RM 2.90 for drinks. All the food menu are pork free.

Delightful pieces of boneless chicken with aromatic flavour of the pandan leaves. Succulent chicken meat that are well marinated.

Refreshing Thai Milk Tea and Pandan +Lemongrass ice drinks

King Rama V Fried Rice .Jeffred advised us to mix all the ingredients together in order to savour the taste. Really " Syok" after mixing it all together. Yummy.

Bowl of Spicy Tom Yam Soup - Full of Thai ingredients is what really gives tom yum its flavor. The broth is pretty thick and the taste is quite satisfying.
Prawns, Squids, fish and mushroom.

This is my favourite -  Wok Fried Phad Thai noodle. The combination is superb with right balance of the sweet, sour, spicy taste. The Phad Thai is delicious with chewy texture and flavourful.

Thai Mango salad - Appetizing with sourish taste.

Golden Thai Pineapple fried rice. Every meal will comes with the scramble egg. Even though the portion look small, once you scoop inside, you will be surely satisfy by the condiments inside and the amount of fragrant fried rice.

Red Rubies and Jackfruit. Classic Thai desserts that you must not missed out.  Sweet sliced nangka and showered with red ruby. Perfect comfort desserts to end the meal.

Overall, I enjoy the taste of the Thai cuisines here with generous portion of food. Thumbs up for the attentive service and unique interior that gives me a warm and relaxing dining experience.

Authentic Thai food that is value for money
