Matsu Sashimi Moriawase (6 types) RM 90.00. Beautiful platter of salmon, white tuna, yellowtail, tuna, salmon roe and scallop.

Each pieces are wonderfully textured and they perfectly melted in my mouth.
Exquisite assorted sashimi platter. We try the Hana Sashimi Moriawase (4 types) RM 50.00 - Serving of Salmon, White Tuna, Yellowtail and Tuna

A sumptuous spread of 7 kinds of Sashimi. Price at RM 150. Kimi-Ya make their in house shoyu and wasabi. Their Hand-grated fresh wasabi is smooth and has the best taste when it's really fresh. Worth mentioning on their own made shoyu sauce too. Best to have these fresh sashimi with the aromatic wasabi and shoyu sauce.

Highly recommended Kimi-Ya Soft Shell Crab Salad RM 33.00- Deep fried soft shell crab with mixed of healthy vegetables. The salad is complemented with the crispy fried salmon skin.
You can choose 3 types of home dressing for your salad - Sesame dressing, Wafu dressing or Yuzu dressing. I enjoy much on the Yuzu sauce. Yuzu is a Japanese citrus fruit with a tangy juice and fragrant peel. It does gives a good aroma in the salad dressing and also make the dish more appetizing.

For vegetarian, you can try the Yasai Salad RM 18.00. Healthy appetizer that includes seaweed, avocado, sea moss with assorted vegetables.

Kimi-Ya Monthly special Yaki Otoro -Grilled supreme Bluefin Tuna Belly with Teriyaki Sauce for only RM 29. There is only 10 pieces available each day (5 pieces for lunch and 5 pieces reserve for dinner), so grab yours quickly.  We are lucky enough to taste this wonderful masterpiece which left only 2 pieces for us.  Rich in flavour and the soft, unique texture just melt inside my mouth.

Japanese Ayu Shioyaki - RM 28.00
Grilled Japanese sweet fish with salt. I can taste the natural sweetness from the fish itself and the boneless fish is easy to consume. Chef Khim demonstrate the proper method to take off the tiny bones by just using chopsticks. (Take it off while still hot)

Top Picture - Kimi-Ya Special Roll RM 36.00 - Avocado, Omelette and cucumber roll, with Garlic mayonnaise on slice tuna and black cavlar topping.

Bottom picture- Unagi Cheese Roll RM 28.00 . Omelette and cucumber roll with roasted eel, cream cheese and sesame seed topping.

Goushuu No Wagyu Shabu Shabu RM 240.00. Thin Sliced Australian Wagyu Beef with assorted vegetables in soup served with citrus dipping sauce. This portion is best to share among 2-3 persons.
Chef's Recommendation - Goushuu No Wagyu Ishiyaki Miso RM 120.00 - Grilled thinly sliced Australian Wagyu Beef on Hot Stone with spicy soy bean paste sauce. Serving of premium meat on the Volcanic Stone along with the wonderful sauce. The hot volcanic stone is preheat at 100 degree.

Chef showing us how to enjoy this special menu.

Curry Udon (RM 22.00) is one of my top pick! Quite filling with this Chewy udon noodles and their curry taste is much difference from the rest of the Japanese restaurant. Taste well balance and so delicious.
Tori Nanban Udon (RM 22.00) Served with chicken meat. I enjoy the sweetness from the soup based. Comfort food with firm and chewy noodles.

Tenzaru Inaniwa Udon RM 38.00 - Cold thin wheat noodles with assorted tempura and dipping sauce. This is surely the best meal for tonight. Chef taught us the 3 types enjoyment of this cold noodles:-

1) You can just dip the noodles into the dipping sauce.
2) Second type whereby you can put a little bit wasabi on top of the noodles and dip together into the sauce.(I prefer this steps).
3) Or you may try the 3rd types. Pour the raw quail egg into the sauce and mix together the chopped scallions. Just take a few strands of noodles and dip them into the sauce before eating them while making a slurping sound. The slurping enhances the flavors. So yummy!

Abekawa Mochi RM 10.00
Homemade rice cake with red bean paste at the side

Mizu Shingen Mochi RM 10.00- Japanese raindrop cake served with brown sugar syrup and soybean powder.

Delectable sweet treats - Chocolate flavour, Yuzu Sorbet, Matcha and Black Sesame ice cream. Black sesame and Yuzu Sorbet is my favorite among all. Ever-so delicious premium Gelato ice cream choices here.
